The Doctor
April Wells, DC

Dr. April Wells is a native Texan, born and raised in Brenham. She attended Texas Lutheran University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in December 2008. Dr. Wells continued her education and graduated from Texas Chiropractic College earning her doctorate degree.

As part of her chiropractic education she participated in multiple clinical rotations which entailed internships at Cenikor Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center, The Bridge Over Troubled Waters, El Centro and Rice University. At Cenikor Rehab Center she provided chiropractic care to people suffering with chemical dependency by way of treating their musculoskeletal and spinal complaints. At The Bridge Over Troubled Waters she provided treatment for battered and abused women and children with various soft tissue and spinal conditions caused by physical violence. At El Centro which is a medical facility located in downtown Houston, she had the opportunity to provide chiropractic services to the greater Houston underprivileged communities. At Rice University, she engaged in treating student athletes and coaches with various sports injuries and sports related conditions to help them achieve their performance goals.

Dr. Wells holds a specialty in treating maternity patients as well as pediatric patients. She is certified in Webster Technique and Graston Technique. She is also a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

She currently resides in Richmond Texas with her husband and enjoys long distance running, cycling, and cooking. Her goal for her patients is to provide the best form of holistic alternative healthcare by using chiropractic methods to help patients reach and maintain optimal health by correcting the spine and musculoskeletal conditions.
